Blaine Bandi

Blaine is the Chief Executive Officer for Wesley Community & Health Centers.  Wesley is a multi-site Federally Qualified Health Center, which provides primary medical and behavioral health care services to underserved populations in Central Phoenix.

Prior to joining Wesley, Blaine served as the Executive Director of the Arizona Health Facilities Authority for 17 years.  During Blaine’s tenure, the Authority financed over $6 billion in construction and capital improvements for Arizona non-profit hospitals and healthcare facilities.  Blaine has also served as the Director of Primary Care Clinics for Sun Health Corporation and the Executive Director of Adelante Healthcare.

Blaine has over 37 years experience in non-profit healthcare administration, including healthcare finance, planning, grants administration, primary care administration, and rural and medically underserved populations in Arizona.  Blaine holds Master’s Degrees in Legal Studies from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and Health Services Administration from Arizona State University.  He also earned a Bachelor of Science from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX.

Blaine has extensive experience with non-profit corporations having served in staff, administrative and board roles.  Blaine currently serves as a board member of the Arizona Alliance of Community Health Centers and the Cooperative Ventures Network and is an advisory board member of the Central Arizona Area Health Education Center.  Blaine also served as the inaugural President of the National Association of Health and Educational Facilities Finance Authorities.  Blaine previously served on the boards of E3 Africa (a charity supporting education of Ugandan orphans), the National Council of Health Facilities Finance Authorities, the Arizona Association of Community Health Centers, Maricopa Area Health Education Center, Concilio Latino de Salud, the Family Involvement Center, the Arizona Inter-Agency Farmworker Coalition, and the Arizona Medicaid Advisory Committee.

Together with his wife of 36 years, they have a son, a daughter, a daughter in law and two very spoiled dogs.
