Dr. Kareem Raad, MD
(he/him)
Medical Doctor
Dr. Radd was born in the USA and grew up playing little league and going to kindergarten in the California Bay Area. At age 9 his family moved to a country in the Middle East called Lebanon to get to know extended family better and he attended high school there.
After volunteering in Guatemala coaching soccer to young children, he was motivated to pursue a career in medicine out of a broader interest in serving the community. He obtained his medical degree in Lebanon, a masters degree in Public Health from UC Berkeley. His residency was at Abrazo Health Network Family Medicine Residency in Phoenix. He is interested in treating patients with diabetes, and discussing healthy diet and exercise, and teaches a weekly diabetes class. It turns out healthy food is a pretty effective medicine!
He recently started a family, and in his free time likes to garden and play soccer. He speaks Spanish, Arabic, and French and a few words of Swahili.
