Dr. Shahrzad Saririan, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Saririan is a physician board certified in Family Medicine with over 15 years of clinical experience. She completed her training in Family Medicine at the University of Virginia in 2005 where she also completed a fellowship in Faculty Development. She has been practicing in Arizona since 2006 and training medical students as a faculty educator. Her work in academic medicine has led to her creating the Primary Care Scholars Program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, where she currently serves as the inaugural director of the program. Her areas of interests are preventive medicine, chronic illness management, pediatric care and social determinants of health. She is also certified in diagnosing developmental conditions in children such as Autism Spectrum Disorder.
In her spare time, Dr Saririan enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 boys, and serving and volunteering in the community.
