Dr. de Tranaltes (“Dr. D”) was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She went to ASU for her undergraduate degree and The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix for medical school. She completed her residency in family medicine at The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix as well, where she served as chief resident during her final year. She has been working as a student and resident volunteer at Wesley since 2016 and is happy to be back as a full-time physician – Wesley is where she discovered her love of family medicine! She is interested in full-spectrum family medicine and caring for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Her career goals include continuing to teach medical students and residents and she hopes to show them the amazing career that can family medicine can be. When she is not in clinic, she can be found gardening, crocheting, or reading, or somewhere out in AZ with her husband and dog.
