Wesley Community and Health Centers is proud to receive a grant from the Thunderbirds Charities of $10,000 to support the after-school program. Thunderbirds Charities funding supports extremely reduced rate after- school programming at Wesley’s two locations in south-central Phoenix and west Phoenix, Maryvale. The after-school program provides affordable, high quality, structured, programing which includes, one-on-one homework tutoring, Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) activities, two full-size indoor multipurpose gyms, daily physical activities, community gardens, arts and crafts, computer lab, and healthy snacks and meals all in a safe and nurturing environment.
