Wesley Community and Health Centers (Wesley) is pleased to receive a $7,500 grant from Wells Fargo. This funding will support Wesley's after-school program. The after-school program is not an extended recess or daycare. It provides children and youth ages five to 15 with a safe, structured environment where children receive one-on-one homework tutoring, a healthy snack and food to bring home, weekly Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) activities, arts and crafts, computer skills, daily physical activities and exercise and field trips to science centers and libraries. This grant allows Wesley to provide high quality "out of school time" programming to those families who would otherwise be "priced out" or not able to afford similar quality programming.
